 Reporting into the Head of Human Resource this role is based out of Central London and is focused on recruiting high quality individuals who will fit in with the Swish values of:

Role Summary:

Swish is building an exciting and inclusive high-performance culture where our team feel empowered to deliver on our target of providing fibre optic networks across the UK. 

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be the focal point for advertising, screening and promoting candidates to the respective hiring managers for interview. They will be focused on direct recruitment and own Swish Fibre’s presence on the various online career’s platforms and also the Swish life web-site. 

We are looking for a strong Talent Acquisition Manager to help manage the full recruitment life cycle. We need your expertise, drive and creativity to help us secure excellent talent to help us on our fast-growing journey. We need someone that is a true Talent specialist, a recruiter first and foremost. You will be highly collaborative, will put people first. Someone fast paced that thrives on change, growth and engagement at all levels. As a key team member, you will be focusing on identifying key potential employees directly with support of our outsourced recruitment partners. 

This is a very varied and fast paced role, it is ideal for someone who has broad recruitment experience across infrastructure industry and ideally FTTP and other experienced professional hires, either from a start-up or scaling tech business. You must be engaging, a self-starter, used to working at pace with strong communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities/ Deliverables 

  • Responsible for the Swish life careers website. 

  • Manage the on-line recruitment forums including the Swish Fibre LinkedIn pages 

  • Work with the Head of HR to manage the recruitment partners. 

  • Work closely with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to implement recruitment plans. 

  • Update the SLT on a regular basis with regard to the recruitment schedule. 

  • Directly identifying best potential candidates and interface as necessary with the outsourced recruitment partners to ensure we attract and retain top talent. 

  • Working with the Swish SLT to build inclusive and brilliant employee experiences that enable employees to thrive and shifts mindsets and behaviours to drive long term consistent impact across all talent initiatives

Key Experience: 

  • Talent recruitment experience in the Technology, Media Telecoms (TMT) 

  • Demonstrable experience hiring a full range of roles (from sales to construction). 

  • Experience on how to successfully engage with new graduates is a plus 

  • Comfortable working on a high volume of roles (10+) at one time across different functions 

  • Detailed knowledge of HR/Talent best practice and current trends 

  • Experience working for a high growth start up or scale up is essential 

  • Comfortable dealing in a yet unstructured environment 

Professional Skills and Background:

  • Higher education or relevant degree and/or CIPD qualified. 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ HR management experience at senior level. 

  • Strategic thinker with operational experience.
